Lice are small insects living in dirty condition in our head. Neglecting the lice in head means neglecting hygiene of head. Head should be kept clean. Its remedies are: A paste of bitter almonds applied on the head is great remedy of it. The juice of vijaya is effective for this. Make a paste of tobacco powder and water followed by emulsion of ritha to wash the hair. An ointment made from the powder of the bark of malkangni mixed with mustard is applied on the head. The juice of Kalihari leaves applied on the head is effective remedy. A paste of powdered sharifa seeds in water can be made and applied on head. Keep it overnight covering the head with some cloth. The paste of Somraji made with lemon juice is an efficacious treatment for this trouble.
